Window Goop appears crackly after rain is this normal?
Window Goop will expand and contract when wet which gives a crackly effect (similar to crows feet). This crows feet look doesn’t affect the integrity of the window goop film.
Does Window Goop get affected by rain?
Window Goop will turn an almost white color when saturated by rain as it`s composition changes to suit climatic conditions.
Does Window Goop thin out with rain?
Unlike other coatings of its kind, Window Goop does not thin out when wet. Other coatings are highly affected and their solids may wash away and make them difficult to remove. Window Goop solids will not change and the Goop film will remain easy to remove.
Is Window Goop waterbased?
Window Goop is waterbased, environmentally friendly and contains additives utilised within the foods industry.
How long can Window Goop be left on externally?
Window Goop has been tested to 12months external exposure at 100um thickness, however Window Goop will last longer if applied thicker than 100um.
Can Window Goop be used on aluminium frames?
Window Goop is commonly used on aluminium joinery. Window Goop has protected thousands of metres of aluminium joinery and is considered to be the leading frame protection within the Building Industry.
Can FloorGoop be applied to all surfaces?
FloorGoop may be applied to most non-porous substrates – it is always best to test in an inconspicuous area first.
Will FloorGoop come out of grout?
Yes – provided that the grout has been allowed to cure for 24hours prior to application of FloorGoop. FloorGoop should be applied to `fill` the grout join so that when it cures the film is thick & tough for easy removal.
Can FloorGoop be walked over?
Yes – provided that the FloorGoop has cured properly
Is FloorGoop resistant to solvents?
FloorGoop has been tested for resistance to acids & solvents, as to date FloorGoop when fully cured is resistant to most solvents included GP thinners & brake fluid. Test first
Can FloorGoop be applied over timber flooring?
FloorGoop may be applied over `sealed` timber flooring – not raw timber. Always allow a few days for the solvents to evaporate out of the timber sealer prior to application of FloorGoop
Can FloorGoop be used on other surfaces?
FloorGoop has been formulated for use specifically on flooring surfaces
Can FloorGoop be used externally?
Provided the FloorGoop is protected by a roofing structure . If FloorGoop is saturated by rain there is a possibility it will `float` from the substrate rendering it ineffective
What do I do if the FloorGoop won`t release from the grout joins?
The only reason that FloorGoop won`t release from the grout joins is if the FloorGoop has been applied too thinly or the grout wasn`t allowed to cure for 24hours prior to application of FloorGoop
What if the FloorGoop is accidently painted on to the skirting boards?
Simply peel the FloorGoop off the skirting boards
How long can FloorGoop be left on flooring?
FloorGoop applied in an internal situation may be left on for a period of up to 24months provided it is applied at the correct thickness.
Does BenchGoop dry clear?
BenchGoop dries to a clear coating which vacuums to the substrate it is protecting.

BenchGoop is very easy to remove when it is no longer required. The Builders Cleaner simply picks the BenchGoop on a corner and simply peels it off in one complete sheet.
How come the surfaces are so clean when BenchGoop is removed?
As with all Goop coatings, BenchGoop contains cleaning products which ensure that the underlying substrates are kept sparkling clean during construction.

How long does it take BathGoop to cure?
Due to the high thickness of applied BathGoop , it may take up to 4 hours to cure depending on the climatic conditions. To make BathGoop cure quicker involves the utilisation of heater fans.
Does BathGoop contain solvents?
All Goop products are formulated without solvent incorporation, hence why Goop products may be slightly slower to cure than competitor products, however Goop products are much more `user and substrate friendly`.
When should BathGoop be applied?
BathGoop should be applied as soon as the bathtub has been installed or just prior to installation. Usually the bathtub is on site when the windows are being Gooped, so GoopGuys normally coat the bathtub then.

How many spraybooths will a 20kg pail of BoothGoop cover?
A 20kg pail of BoothGoop will easily cover the walls on 3 x standard spray booth (45m2 wall area) , this allows for an 8mt x 4.5mt booth coating the walls up to a height of 2.1mt
How long can BoothGoop be left on?
BoothGoop has been tested to 12months however should be removed and reapplied every 6 months as the coating gets quite dirty & is likely to not attract airborne contaminants

How do I remove BoothGoop?
BoothGoop should be removed when the spraybooth is cool, do not try to remove the BoothGoop when the booth is hot.
What if the BoothGoop comes off in bits & pieces , not in a film?
If the BoothGoop rips into little pieces it means that you have applied the coating way too thin and another needs to be applied to give the coating strength . Reapply the BoothGoop , leave for 24hours then remove
Can BoothGoop be applied over dirty spray booth walls?
BoothGoop should be applied over clean walls to ensure easy removal.
What do I apply BoothGoop with?
BoothGoop is supplied with the recommended polyester roller
Can BoothGoop be sprayed?
It is not recommended that BoothGoop be sprayed as it is much easier to get the desired thickness with a roller
